teri2Going back in time again to post a session from my trip in to the big city before Christmas.  The due date is drawing near for this baby boy, and I am sure big brother is getting very excited.  It was a litle chilly on this day, but we still mananged to get a few quick photos outdoors.  I find that I am really enjoying doing maternity photos outdoors, in addition to in the home, even during frosty winter weather.

I had the pleasure of visiting the community of Conne River one day in the end of July and had sessions with two families at that time.  Will I photographed when he was one, and Jenna and Daniel I was meeting for the first time.  (Cool how two of the three children have the same names as my kids).  It was nice to drive through a community where every single person I passed that day waved to me, even though I was a total stranger.  That is one of the things i love about small towns in Newfoundland.  The scenery here was breathtaking, and I enjoyed spenging some time capturing these spirited children.jenna-and-daniel

My brother has been visiting us this week from Yellowknife.  We haven’t seen his family since last May when they got married in Florida, which was also the first time I got to meet my handsome little nephew Jack.  This was my second time, and what an enjoyable week it has been.  My children love playing with him, and he loves to wake up every morning to go find his “friends”.  We spent a considerable amount of time trying to capture some photos of the four of them together.  There are a couple of my favourites.  Jack. Jenna, and Philip have amused themselves playing Ring around the Rosie.  Typical 2 year old Jack however loves to get right to the fun part.  His version of the song:

Ring round rosie…. ashes, ashes….. all fall down!

William joined in reluctantly for mommy.
